BismilLah
As-salamu Alykum wr wb
I am sorry to write in English but I'm away from my home... however I'm visiting my other home... my spiritual home...I am visiting Mecca...something in this city just shakes you from within, the longing to the Kaaba speaks high inside one's heart...
with the talbeya from the heart, labyka Rab al kaaba labyek, labyk Tha Ma3arej labyek, labeyk ya Azeem labyek, labyek ya Kareem labyek, labyek ya Samad labyk, labyaka Allahum labyk!
The call, can you hear it inside you? can you feel it encompasing you and everything around you as you pass the mikat to Mecca... as you enter Mecca... as you see the Kaaba...
Strange are those people circling around this stone building, coming from different directions to unite in one motion and follow one order, a call from The Lord, circling around the kaaba... coming from different back grounds... with different foregrounds to rest in one background...
Subhana Allaah... when I see this from a distance they look overwhelming, order yet choice! colourful yet one! spectular sublimes and contrast!!!..
.-Yes contrast!- for when I become part of them at first I feel so depressed! Most of them know very little about Islamic shariah, it shows from how they carry themselves, the contradictions.... the one motion and the differences! just like the prayer line zoom out they're circles, zoom in they're spots! only when people unite can you ask: will their d,ifference over rule their "common-ness"?
yet it only takes a bit of thinking to see the whole picture again, they look so beautiful from a distance, their center and goal unites them... Haj unites them!
The most important element in Haj, some say its Arafat, yet the Tawaf will always remain the basis of Haj, The First and the Last! The motto of Haj, The motto of Muslims! we might be different, but we have a common direction, a common center... we might be different, some more educated, some more pious, some more honest, some more deep, some tall, some short, yet with all these differnces we can still unite... if we overcome the details, just for Haj we can overrule these difference to one motion and one center piece, to one goal: Allah's mercy and pleasure!
Between the Safa and Marwa we march helplessly looking for something so badly, helplessly yearning for something from above!
To and fro... slow and fast... we reach the end to find it is a new begining... yet helplessly we try again and again seven time and at every peak and end and beginning we say:
la illaha ila lah wahdahu la shareek lahu, He owns everything, all praise and glory is to him, he is able of everything...
then we say:
that Allaah is alone worthy of worship, he has kept his promise -and will-, he has made his srvent victorious and defeated the united tribes alone... reminding us of Hajar and Ismaal, the first son of Abrahim, -may peace be upon them- the fard not the nafela- was saved here... They obeyed their Lord and tried their best, yet the gift was not a fruit but a bestowed wonderful bouty... ZamZam... them river that was zoomed to a spring with blessed water from above, not consecrated ! like maryam's dates!
ZamZam a blessing to everyone who visits Mecca... blessings of fulfilment and recovery, blessings of a bestowed well that tells every Muslims that every harship with proper Tawheed and obedience, sa3y and yakeen will be overcomed, and every dream of people like those will come better than true....
whatever the hardships that have been decreed or will be decreed it will always be to the better from The Muslim, for Abraham and his clan,... and good will always rise even if the details now cover your sight... ZOOM OUT!,...wa Allahu Akbar
